Evolving to High Power Athletics

CrossFit High Power is now High Power Athletics. We have evolved our name to better reflect what we do, which includes CrossFit, but also now Personal Training, Endurance Coaching and Nutrition Coaching. CrossFit remains central to our identity and what we provide. We have seen first-hand the impact that high intensity, constantly varied functional movements have had on our athlete’s lives, which is why we are committed to CrossFit. We also are proud to add Personal Training, Endurance Coaching and Nutrition Coaching as part of offerings.

Personal Training: We work 1:1 with athletes to sharpen skills, focus on weaknesses and build on strengths. Our expert coaches develop a comprehensive plan for 1:1 athletes, dedicate focused attention during 1 hour or 30 minute sessions (depending upon the athlete’s goals) and hold each athlete accountable, including regular check-ins.

Endurance Coaching: Our roots are in the endurance community. Our owner, Gary Lombardo, has 25 years of experience as an endurance athlete and coach, including in the triathlon, obstacle course racing, marathon, cycling, swimming and mountaineering communities. Along with certifications held by United States Triathlon, Spartan and CrossFit, this experience helps any athlete define goals, put together a plan, set a race strategy, program training, undertake nutrition and mindset training, and much more.

Nutrition Coaching: We firmly believe nutrition in the foundation for all athletic performance. Without proper nutrition you will not attain every day wellness, fitness and a high level of performance. Our coaches work with you to develop a personalized nutrition plan tailored to your specific needs. We conduct a baseline test of your key biomarkers (such as weight, skeletal muscle mass, and percent body fat) and outline the proper quantity and quality of food you should consume based around your goals and lifestyle.

Finally, as part of our new brand, we are committed to reaching a wider audience of athletes to impact and transform lives. We will add speciality programs and clinics to fulfill this focus. An example of this is our Teen Strength & Conditioning Program, which is dedicated to transforming the lives of young adults. We’re excited to offer the Teen Strength & Conditioning Program in the Summer 2022, which is a 10 week program offered twice a week. Learn more about our Summer Teen Program.
